Setup Departments & Outlets in IDZlink Retail Accounting POS

Setting up Departments and Outlets

All the Master Pages or pages related to Setting up are in the Set up menu. (All the required fields in each page are either in yellow or has a *).

A Department and Shop is created by default when creating a company. Each shop is associated with a department, and one department can have many shops.

Department

To add or edit and Department:

Go to the Department Page

o Open the Home Menu from the Home button in the bottom left corner

o Click the Set up tile

o Click the Department button.

Create a Department

o Enter Department Name

o Select a Currency that this department operates with.

o Click the Save button in the top right corner of the page

Edit a Department

o Click the search button in the top left corner of the page

o Click Search without any queries to view all Departments

o Click the Edit button on the department you wish to edit.

o Edit the required fields

o Click the save button at the top right corner of the page.

Delete an Department

o Click the search button in the top left corner of the page

o Click Search without any queries to view all Department

o Click the Delete button against the outlet you wish to delete

To Reset all entries

o To Reset all entries

Outlet

Go to the Outlets Page

o Open the Home Menu from the Home button in the bottom left corner

o Click the Set up tile

o Click the Retail Setup drop down

o Click Store

o Click Outlets

Create a Outlet

o Fill in the yellow fields

o Each of the Accounts related to the shop can be set up in this area as well. This is relevant for the accounts module and some of the reports.

o Select whether this outlet uses GST.

o Select the GST amount from the Tax Category for service drop down. These Categories can be created from the Tax Page.

o Click the Save button in the top right corner of the page

Edit an Outlet

o Click the search button in the top left corner of the page

o Click Search without any queries to view all Outlets

o Click the Edit button on the department you wish to edit.

o Edit the required fields

o Click the save button at the top right corner of the page.

Delete an Outlet

o Click the search button in the top left corner of the page

o Click Search without any queries to view all Outlets

o Click the Delete button against the outlet you wish to delete

To Reset all entries

o Click the back button on the top left corner of the page
